Sarah McNaught – Senior Business Associate
Sarah is Senior Business Associate working on strategic business development, stakeholder engagement and project management; maximising profitability in advance of a sale, practice valuations, acquisitions and disposals for the healthcare business community.
Having worked for over 30 years on both client and agency side within the healthcare, drinks industry, retail and third sectors, Sarah has a wealth of experience. Whilst strategically focussed she is equally happy to roll up her sleeves
to get the job done.
Prior to joining Assurgo Associates Sarah specialised in developing and implementing commercial and creative marketing and communication strategies and successfully built a number of high profile global and UK consumer brands.
Kathryn Hume – Commercial Development
Kathryn has 25 years’ experience at senior management and non-executive director level across a number of commercial business sectors from retail to clinical. Offering a broad spectrum of skills and experience with a proven track record of success in delivering commercial operations, business development and revenue growth within a customer/patient environment.
An accomplished communicator, Kathryn builds and maintains excellent relationships and partnerships within private, joint venture, franchised and private equity. This extends across acquisition, integration and business-development within employed and self-employed arenas.
Kathryn specialises in commercial improvements, business growth opportunities, e-commerce and increasing profitability. She is passionate about change management and has a strong emphasis on driving compliance, business process and procedures to streamline operations.
Kathryn brings fresh and innovative thinking, with a problem-solving approach and customer-centric experience, from both a strategic and operational level.
Jenny Goody – Practice Management & Coaching Associate
Jenny, a former practice manager, is in the unique position of being able to offer healthcare practices her experience of successful practice management as well as training, consulting, mentoring and coaching.
Having spent over 10 years in dental and 2 years in chiropractic practices, Jenny managed multi-million pound specialist dental and large NHS orthodontic practices and consequently understands the day to day pressures facing practice managers. Knowing what works financially, commercially and personally, Jenny specialises in analysing healthcare practices and making strategic recommendations.
Jenny is currently undertaking her ICF coaching qualification and has achieved her Level 5 ILM business management qualification.
Rhona Brown – Project Management Associate
Rhona is an enthusiastic and engaging customer service professional with extensive relationship management and business development experience.
After 28 years in financial services, Rhona branched out into lottery fundraising and then management of the Scottish Enterprise Business Mentoring programme for Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce where, over four years, she developed an extensive network of support for local businesses.
Since turning freelance, Rhona has proved her versatility operating across a number of projects including management of membership services and the development of political relationships for Scotland’s Towns Partnership; research for retail development companies and conference organisation.
Gordon Martin – Finance Associate
Gordon is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, with 30 years experience in senior finance roles across a number of businesses, particularly in the FMCG and more recently private healthcare sectors. He has a strong background in working with multi disciplinary teams.
His main areas of expertise are in business valuations, planning, budgetting, forecasting and capital investment appraisal.
Joyce Hardie – Associate
Joyce has over 30 years’ experience in property management specialising in business change including process reviews, premises refurbishments, relocations and health & safety. Since turning freelance her focus has been on business writing producing all types of documentation including business plans, ITT responses
policies and procedures, strategy documents and more.
Specialising in Health & Safety documentation including policies, risk assessments and method statements Joyce has a bias towards property and the construction
Sharon Lee – Procurement Associate
Sharon is an accomplished procurement professional in the management and delivery of a diverse range of purchasing related activities.
With an aptitude for adding value and meeting the requirements of individual business strategy objectives Sharon has great experience and has worked across a variety of sectors and organisations including the NHS, private prison service and manufacturing.
Michelle Le Prevost – Founder
Assurgo Associates was founded by Michelle Le Prevost. Following 28 years in business development with healthcare corporates Michelle founded Assurgo Associates Ltd to showcase the skills of her team and to bring an experienced and bespoke offering to the healthcare business community.
Michelle is Prince 2 qualified and specialises in strategic business development; project management of new store openings, relocation and expansion projects; retail brand development as well as mergers, acquisitions and integration. Having previously worked across the dental, pharmaceutical and optical sectors Michelle is an experienced and very organised individual with a passion for patient care.
As part of Michelle’s portfolio career, she works as an MD within the Optical sector; as a result, and to avoid any conflict of interest; Michelle currently advises and consults in the dental, pharmacy and veterinary sectors only.
